HighwayExit72: Top Five Posts of 2009
Thank you to everyone who visited, and commented on the content of this site the previous 364 days of this year—what a year it’s been.
Still in its infancy, HighwayExit72.com is almost two-years of age now; 2009 recorded the first full calendar year of its existence. The celebration of anniversary’s, breaking news, commemorative posts, and once-in-a-lifetime series made the list of the site’s highlights.
Just as it has been said by some that shoppers vote with their feet, visitors to this site have voted with their (computer) mice. By vote, I mean articles clicked on, read, and re-read.
So here they are, the top five blog posts of 2009, as chosen by you the readers:
5. Field’s Pies Makes Pecans Famous — July 20, 2009
4. Interview with Mike Dyson — May 27, 2009
3. Lesson From The (Grand) Canyon — June 3, 2009
2. ‘Happy Days Diner’ Home to Hefty Burger — July 14, 2009
1. All In The Roethlisberger Family — Feb. 3, 2009
Personal note: I find it of interest that two of the top five posts were co-authored (#5, and #2), two were written about specific people (#4, and #1), and one spotlighted a memorable trip with my dad (#3).

Nick,
Thank you for entertaining our interests with noteworthy stories, interviews, and content in 2009. I hope that highwayexit72.com continues to grow by leaps and bounds in 2010.
Glad I could help with the stories. I hope we collaborate again.
