'30 Chick Flicks in 30 Days'
How far would you go to understand the opposite sex?
That question—and the pursuit of an answer—helps to fuel the online social media experiment, “30 Chick Flicks in 30 Days“.
Scheduled to begin Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, and conclude 30 days later on Saturday, Feb. 13, the effort focuses on “one guy’s exploration of romance through movies loved by women.” Note that this project ends the day before Valentine’s Day.
For clarification, I (Nick Waters) am that “guy” exploring romance through these films.
The idea is that in approximately one month’s time I will better understand the feminine persuasion, and ultimately be a better husband. All as a result of my having watched not one, not two, but 30 “chick flicks”; in 30-straight days, nonetheless.
I am willingly doing this, and no—no one put me up to it.
Feel free to let your voice be heard throughout the experience, and/or recommend a film (or three) for me to watch. You can also join-in the fun first-hand by taking the “30 Chick Flicks Challenge“.
So which chick flicks should I watch?

suggestions:
A lot like Love
The Notebook
The Jane Austen Book Club
10 things I hate about you
Good luck, I suggested the idea to my husband a while ago…
…and what was his response?
Of course, The Notebook is a MUST
Ever After
The Princess Bride
Pride & Prejudice (2005 version)
Dirty Dancing
p.s. Has my husband been persuaded to take this challenge?
Jamie — That I’m aware of, no. There has been no persuading of your husband (at least none from me); not even a little arm bending.
